It arrived slightly crooked and doesn't stand stably on the table. Maybe it will level out over time, but for now it's as it is. Applying 4 drops of silicone on the bottom made it more stable and less slippery. It fulfills its function well and holds the lid well.
It's made of plastic, and when you use it with a silicone bead pad on the bottom, it doesn't slip.
